DrinkMate OmniFizz Sparkling Water and Soda Maker: Special Features
We love the DrinkMate OmniFizz soda maker for many reasons. Here’s everything that will make you fall in love with this carbonator!
Carbonates All Drinks
The DrinkMate OmniFizz carbonator infuses CO2 into any liquid through the bottle’s lid. The machine’s mechanism and the bottle’s head are designed to hold more pressure.
Non-water liquids develop too much pressure when carbonated. The key is in the infuser head with the nozzle. It has two buttons that let you release too much pressure.
So you can carbonate any drink. You don’t need to dilute your favorite fruit juice or chardonnay with soda water to add a little fizz to it!
Easy and Safe Design
The carbonator reminds me of Aarke Carbonator III because of how easy it is to use! Assembling is super-easy. And the device works at the press of a button on the top.
You can customize any drink and make it as strong or light as you want. You can also re-carbonate flat drinks. Since it doesn’t need electricity or batteries to run, no wire or additional work is required.
All you need to do is press the button at the top at least three times. It has a patented design to prevent explosions and keep you safe.
DrinkMate OmniFizz Carbonator – Is It Worth The Money?
Carbonators are gradually becoming more popular at home. That’s due to the rising consciousness in people. We all want to eat and drink mindfully so that our bodies – and nature – can be healthy. That’s where the Drinkmate OmniFizz carbonator plays an important role.
A DrinkMate OmniFizz allows you to add fizz to any drink. From plain water to wine – anything can be better with fizz!
As a result, you don’t have to run to the store and spend money on caffeinated, sugar-rich unhealthy drinks that come in use-and-throw containers.
The DrinkMate soda maker costs around $100. The CO2 bottle refills that produce 60 L of carbonated drinks set you back by $15 – while the new cylinders cost twice.
Do you know the cost of 60 L coke? Around $85, since the price is around $1.42 for a liter in the US.
Now, you must remember that the price of the appliance is a one-time investment.
So, the more you make fizzy water at home, the more you will enjoy the value of the machine.
Clearly, in a few years, it will help save a lot of money you’d otherwise spend on Coke.
Fruit-flavored fizzy drinks add no value to your diet. They set you on the path to obesity, diabetes, fatty liver disease, and other health problems. With DrinkMate, you can add fizz to purified water, fruit juices, homemade mocktails, etc. That’s why we say it’s a must-have!
How to Use DrinkMate OmniFizz Soda Maker
The DrinkMate OmniFizz Sparkling Water and Soda Maker is extremely easy to use. It’s a handy tool for adding fizz to any beverage – be it water, cider, or juice. So let’s look at the steps of using this appliance –
Steps to Use DrinkMate OmniFizz:
- Remove the back panel cover.
- Place any CO2 cylinder and screw it in tightly.
- Put the panel cover back on the cylinder.
- Fill the bottle with water or any drink of your choice. Ensure that it’s cold.
- Place the infuser head on the bottle like a lid.
- Line the head in the slot on the appliance and lock the bottle at an angle.
- Push the bottle’s bottom to straighten it and activate the carbonation process.
- Press the button at the top of the machine to add fizz to the drink.
- Pull the bottle’s bottom to angle it. Slide and remove the bottle.
Lift the silver flipper on the head to release pressure. Press the blue button on the head to fast-release pressure. But we suggest not attempting it with non-water drinks.
Doing so can cause a frothy buildup in the bottle. Replace the infuser head with the bottle cap.
Three pumps should be enough to carbonate the liquid.
You can go for more pumps – but pay attention! If you hear a wheezing sound, it indicates oversaturation and that some of the gas is escaping. Here’s a quick video below to help you!
Homemade Coke Recipe
Do you and your kids love a sip of Coke with every meal? Here’s a syrup recipe to keep in your refrigerator. While it is not exactly Cola, it’s still a tasty drink to replace the caffeinated, sugar-rich drink!
Ingredients:
- Monk fruit sweetener – 2/3 cup + 2 tsp
- Plain water – 2 cups
- Orange zest – From 1 large orange, finely chopped
- Lime zest – From 1 lime, finely grated
- Lemon zest – From 1 lemon, finely grated
- Coriander seeds – 2 tsp (crushed)
- Lavender (dried) – 1 ½ tsps
- Star anise – 4-5 sections of 1 star anise
- Vanilla pod – 1 piece (split)
- Cinnamon – 1/2 stick
- Cassia bark – 1 piece
- Ginger (minced) – 1 tsp
- Citric acid powder – 1/4 tsp
Instructions:
- Set a large saucepan on medium heat. Put all the ingredients into the bowl.
- Mix it all and bring it to a boil on high heat.
- Then, reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add water to dilute. How much water you’ll put in depends on your taste.
- Transfer the drink to a bottle (or multiple bottles) – and refrigerate.
Your homemade drink is ready. Whenever you crave it, simply transfer some of the liquid to your carbonator bottle – and add as much fizz to it as you want for a bottle of deliciousness!
You can tweak it a little and add some Cola flavor and caramel color to this mix. Plus, add about 800-1000 mg of caffeine powder to every liter of the drink. Also, you can replace monk fruit sweetener with any other sugar substitute.
Frequently Asked Questions
If you carbonate wine using DrinkMate, can you put it into another bottle?
The DrinkMate carbonator comes with a dedicated bottle for carbonation. You need to use it to add fizz to any drink – including wine.
However, once you’re done, you can transfer the fizzy wine to another container for bottling as long as you can seal it tightly.
What kind of CO2 bottles can you use with DrinkMate?
The DrinkMate soda maker does not come with a CO2 canister, and the brand does not produce one. You can use any 60 L cylinder to power this device. Pick a bottle with a screw system instead of “quick connect” cylinders you can’t screw into the panel.
Final Words
The best feature of the DrinkMate OmniFizz Sparkling Water and Soda Maker is that it can carbonate any drink – and not just water. So if you want to add life to any drink in the house, you can do it. You’ll save the expense of unhealthy drinks – and healthcare later!
