BAYKA French Press Coffee Maker: Things I Love About This Coffee Maker & Things I Don’t

The following are some of the things that I like about this BAYKA coffee maker. I also talked about the few drawbacks it has so that you know whether the coffee maker suits your needs or not.

Stylish Design

I love how elegant this BAYKA French Press coffee maker looks. It has a minimal, sophisticated design that blends in with the aesthetics of my home. The combination of copper and glass hardly disappoints and creates a pretty presentation on your coffee table.

Furthermore, the anti-drop design ensures you don’t spill coffee while pouring it, which is, again, excellent, especially for clumsy people like me. The finishing on the handle and edges is super smooth, giving it a premium look.

But I noticed that the copper gets scratches after a few washes, so you have to be a little gentle with it, especially when washing.

Sturdy Material

You don’t buy a coffee maker every other day; therefore, you must ensure that the one you are buying lasts you long enough. After using the BAYKA French Press coffee makers for a couple of months, I can say that this one is super sturdy.

The carafe is made from heat-resistant borosilicate glass that has the proper insulation.

It keeps the water perfectly warm while the coffee brews.

Thickened glass bottom and stainless-steel framed handle are pretty well made, adding to the lifespan of the BAYKA coffee maker.

The best part is you can dismantle each part of this coffee maker, which makes cleaning the French press super easy. You can reach even the tiniest spots to get rid of the coffee grounds every time you wash it.

I don’t recommend washing the BAYKA French press in a dishwasher. The dishwasher cannot reach all the nooks and crannies, so it’s better to hand wash it.

4 Level Filtration System

The Filtration system is the deal maker or the deal breaker when it comes to a French Press. Nobody likes coffee grounds in their cup, and neither do I.

The four-level filtration system of the BAYKA with a double stainless steel filter keeps the coffee grounds inside and lets you enjoy every sip of coffee.

The two extra fine mesh filters don’t let coffee sediments pass to let you have a delicious, smooth coffee.

User Friendly

This coffee maker is completely user-friendly. It doesn’t matter whether you have developed a new interest in the French press or are a coffee drinker already; this is suitable for all.

All you have to do is add the coffee grounds, pour warm water, let it brew for 4 to 5 minutes, and enjoy your coffee. If it’s your first time using a French press, check out this video tutorial-

Versatile Function

Last but not least, you’ll love how versatile this coffee maker is. You can use it as a tea infuser as well. But don’t let the tea sit in for longer, as it might make it bitter. That’s not it; you can use it for whipping cream, frothing milk, cold brew, and to juice berries.

Of course, you can’t expect to get a nice foamy froth or smooth whipped cream with the French press. But the results are still impressive.

BAYKA French Press Coffee Maker: Is It Worth Buying?

After using the BAYKA French Press for a couple of months, I would say this was the right purchase for me. First of all, I needed a coffee maker with a minimal yet aesthetic design, and I’ll give it full marks for that.

But of course, the design is of no use if the coffee maker does not serve the purpose. It has all the features a standard coffee maker should have. The material is super durable, even though it’s made from glass.

Initially, I was afraid of cleaning the French press, fearing I may break it easily. But the glass is very durable and does not easily get marks.

One of the issues I had with my previous coffee maker was that it didn’t keep the water hot while the coffee brews. But BAYKA’s heat-resistant glass keeps the water perfectly warm without affecting the taste of my much-needed morning coffee.

Everybody only cares about the perfect sip of coffee instead of wasting time learning the coffee makers’ features. There is nothing fancy about using this coffee maker. It’s extremely easy to use and clean, which is another plus point for me.

Overall I’m pretty satisfied with this coffee maker except for the fact that the copper part gets scratched easily. Also, the glass isn’t thick enough to handle very hot water, so I have to wait for some time before pouring in the water.

This does not bother me much, but if you prefer your coffee very hot, this may not be the right choice for you. If you are looking for a french press that can hold hot water then you would want to check out the Bodum Java French Press Coffee Maker (34 Ounce).

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Use Regular Coffee Grounds In The BAYKA French Press?

The BAYKA French press brews the perfect coffee with coarse coffee grounds. In fact, you should only use coarse coffee in any French press. Instant coffee does not work best with a French Press.

Can A French Press Make Cappuccino?

Yes, you can use the French press to make cappuccino and even latte. Even though the taste is not as good as what you get in a cafe, it’s still delicious.

Is French Press Coffee As Strong As Espresso?

No, the French press isn’t as strong as espresso. Espresso contains more caffeine due to its high concentration.

Takeaway
